Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page, born James Patrick Page on the 9th of January 1944.James Page was  influenced by acoustic folk  and the blues sounds of Elmore James and B.B. King.He became one of the guitar players who   influenced rock music and musicians with his personal aproach combining force and soft riffs, his style is absolutely great.
At college Page would often play with guitarist Eric Clapton & Jeff Beck.
Despite the departure from The Yardbirds of Keith Relf and Jim McCarty in 1968,Jimmy Page wished to continue the group with a new line-up . He recruited vocalist Robert Plant and drummer John Bonham, and was contacted by John Paul Jones who asked to join . This is how Led Zeppelin was born...
In only ten years Led Zeppelin became a lecend and most of hard rock that came after 1980 was influenced ,directly or not, by them.
